Fat Feast Suet Cake Treat Block for Wild Birds

I'd actually wanted to order the Gourmet Robin suet blocks as they're a big hit but none were available so ordered these instead. My allotment birds are big fans of them. :-)

The Starlings in particular love this - many of them taking a chunk back to their nests which is lovely to see - can't keep up with demand !!

I have ordered these Breakfast Fat Feasts blocks on several occasions. The quality is very good and the blocks do not crumble away in the feeder. Needless to say the birds absolutely love them. The price and the variety of Fat Feast blocks is impressive. Thank you Twootz.

The garden birds love these suet cakes.

I only buy from Twootz now because the products are not only top quality, but also because I haven't found them cheaper elsewhere and, as a pensioner, I really have to watch the pennies. I was pleased that two items I wanted to buy were also subject to offers, including this. They arrived just 3 days after ordering and the delivery driver kindly brought them into my kitchen for me and placed them where I indicated so I could unpack without having to lift the heavy boxes. This one wasn't too bad for weight, just three small boxes, but the other two would have been a struggle, being 25kg each.
It was starting to get dark by delivery time but the birds attacked them with gusto this morning, especially the Starlings. I wasn't sure about the fruit one, intending it for Blackbirds, but it's been eaten just as much as the mealworm block I also put out.
If I have any queries about this 3 flavour multi pack, it's that it was packed too soon after pouring and the fat had over flowed so I ended up with greasy hands. Hopefully it won't be too bad next time because I have put them in the chiller drawer of my fridge since I rarely buy salad in winter. In any case, I'll wear rubber gloves next time!
