No Mess Suet Trays

I have to report an outbreak of harmony since trying the TWOOTZ suet trays (no mess, and can be hung vertically or laid down).

Blue Tits, Great Tits and Robins queue up politely to take their turns on the blocks with everyone more interested in enjoying the feast than in the usual squabbles!

Suet Trays

This is not often the case – often lots of energy is used in driving off competitors – with sometime fierce battles being waged to establish a personal space – I’ve got a pair of Magpies who make us waste ages of time as we watch the planned strategies which are executed with much strutting and ambushing.

Living where we do, pheasants frequently appear on the bird tables, and they are surrounded by sparrows who are not at all intimidated by the much larger birds – all feeding quite happily.

My next order will certainly take advantage of the Fat Balls offer – they weather well in the feeders and are popular all round – the long beaked jobs break up the balls slowly and the scraps drop to the ground or onto the tables where those with shorter/blunter beaks quick hoover up the gifts from above!
