Breeding season is well upon us and our adult birds are busy, trying to keep up with the demands of their offspring. Soon they will fledge and will be searching for themselves, normally within the immediate area they’ve fledged. The adults will mate again and produce another brood in the coming weeks and the cycle will start again. The bird table and feeding station is often the first port of call, for adults and newly fledged birds, as it is usually a guaranteed food source. It’s so important to keep it stocked - it can get expensive, but if you pick the right product you can keep your feeding station topped up and provide the reliability that our garden birds have become accustomed to.
