Chopped almonds make a great high energy treat or addition to a range of wild bird seed mixes. They have a very similar calorific value to peanuts and are a great source of energy for wildbirds.
The almonds contain a wide range of vitamins, minerals and amino acids which will help keep wild birds fit and healthy and prepare themselves for the harsh winter months.
Chopped almonds may be spread on the ground, on bird tables or used from peanut feeders if desired.
